Privacy Policy

Data we collect

• Account data: your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash), and your time zone setting.
• Workspace content: the posts, text, images, videos, and schedules you create, and the names of workspaces and members.
• Connected social accounts: when you connect an account, the network sends us, through our publishing partner Zernio, its name, user name, ID, and profile picture (if it has one), and gives us permission to publish for you. We keep a copy of the profile picture in our storage and check it for changes about once a week. We use this data only to show the account in the app and to publish the posts you schedule.
• Billing data: Stripe collects your card details and billing address. We receive the plan, the subscription status, and invoice records. We never receive your full card number.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and logs of requests and errors. We use this to keep the Service secure and working.
• Messages: the emails you send us.

How we use data

• to give you the Service: store your posts, publish them, and show their status;
• to manage your account, subscription, and payments;
• to send service emails about your account and subscription (Stripe sends receipts and trial reminders for us);
• to keep the Service secure and to fix problems;
• to meet legal duties.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not send marketing emails without your consent.

Data from social networks

We use data from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn only to publish the posts you schedule and to show you which accounts are connected. We do not sell it or share it for advertising. You can disconnect an account in the app's Channels page at any time. You can also remove our access in the network's own settings. After you disconnect an account, its name, user name, and profile picture stay in the workspace, with your past posts, until we delete the workspace's data.

Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only what they need:

When you publish, the social network receives the post and its media. We also share data if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy still applies to your data.

Cookies

The app uses essential cookies to keep you signed in. It uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The website (www.pingpingpost.com) sets no cookies of its own. If we turn on website statistics, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites.

How long we keep data

We keep your data while your account is open. When an account or subscription ends, we delete its workspace content and connected-account data after 30 days. We keep billing records for as long as tax law requires. Backups are deleted on a rolling schedule within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Send the request to support@pingpingpost.com. We answer within 30 days. If you live in the European Economic Area, the UK, or California, local law gives you these rights, and you can also complain to your data protection authority. We do not "sell" or "share" personal data as California law defines those words.

Legal bases (EEA and UK)

We process your data to perform our contract with you, to meet legal duties, and for our legitimate interests in keeping the Service secure. Where we need consent, we ask for it.

Where data is stored

We store data in the United States. When we move data from the EEA or UK to the US, we use the safeguards that the law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.

Security

We encrypt data in transit, keep each workspace's data separate in our database, and limit staff access. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your data, we tell you as the law requires.

Children

The Service is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. If a change is important, we tell you by email or in the app before it applies.
